JOLAN is a professional, double blind peer-reviewed international journal published by the Linguistic Association of Nigeria. The journal provides a platform for serious, well-researched and original papers or research reports in any area of linguistics, language, literature, culture, information science, communication studies and other related fields.

We accept manuscripts written in English, French and any Nigerian language. Papers written in languages apart from English must have another abstract and keywords written in English. Authors are always welcome to submit their manuscripts for publication consideration. As a multi-disciplinary journal, JOLAN accepts papers which adopt either the LSA, MLA or APA style sheet, provided the author is consistent.

JOLAN receives manuscripts all year round through jolaneditor2016@gmail.com. Manuscripts submitted for publication consideration should have the following: appropriate abstract with relevant keywords (minimum of 3 and maximum of 6), methodology i.e. how the work is done; the problem i.e. the gap identified which the study seeks to fill; the aims/objectives and specific contribution(s) to knowledge. All the materials cited in the body of the work should appear in the list of References. Manuscripts for publication, book reviews, and all correspondence on editorial matters should be sent electronically to:
